Commercial Carpet Water Damage in Mount Pocono, PA

Commercial Carpet Water Damage in Mount Pocono, PA

Commercial carpet water damage is its own kind of job. Most offices, shops and schools in Mount Pocono, PA use glue down carpet or carpet tile, not stretched carpet over pad. That changes how we dry it.

Glue down carpet cannot be float dried because there is no pad and no tack strip to lift from. Mount Pocono, PA Wet Carpet Drying extracts it hard with weighted tools, then dries it in place with air movers pointed across the surface and dehumidifiers sized for the space. We watch the adhesive closely. If water sits too long, the glue can let go and the carpet bubbles off the slab.

Carpet tile is easier in one way. Wet tiles can be pulled, numbered, dried and relaid, or swapped out for spares from the building's stock. We check the slab under the tiles with a moisture meter before anything goes back down.

We plan the work around your hours where we can. Many commercial jobs run overnight or across a weekend so staff can come back to a dry floor. We also mark off wet areas to keep people from slipping.

For property managers, we log moisture readings and photos daily, which helps with the claim and the tenant.
